The key word is " full RACE kit " not " full backyard basher kit " If your not going to do any racing u don ' t need it unless you got a lot of money to spare .

It is a good kit and will be fine for bashing .

Just cause a car is called " Factory Team " or whatever , does it mean we can ' t buy it if we don ' t race ? Get real .

I prefer the JPS kit which is very nice also , and seems more user friendly , and has more tuning capability .

I own the JPS BTW .

For any clod kits you will need :

Clodbuster kit .

Chassis conversion kit .

Bearings for the gearboxes are recommended .

ESC capable of two motors . Super Rosster , etc .

High Torque servo , 65 oz . or stronger .

Four oil shocks , 4 ". I use the Duratrax comp . shocks .

Lexan body , if you don ' t want to ruin the plastic body .

Mild modified motors if you desire , but I love the kit 540s because of the torque and runtime .

Buy what you want and have fun . And if you ever decide to race both kits are more than capable .
